After finding a Halloween-type rubber mask in a charity shop, our very game TA dressed up as Wolf/Grandma and was interviewed by the class. I remember much of the questioning being very probing. Some took a downright hostile stance, whilst others thought the creature might have been the victim of prejudice and an undeserved reputation.
Anyway, afterwards the ‘wolf’ sat for a portrait, still dressed as Grandma. As always, although observation was at the heart of the activity, the children used their ‘artistic licence’, which was great, and produced work that was very individual
